Business Continuity & Crisis Management Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Gdańsk, Poland, with 2–3 days per week from the office; minimum 3 days at a Nordea location in Poland if required.

Salary: 800–1,050 PLN per day on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Design and plan desktop testing and recovery exercises for Collaboration and Communication Services in line with banking objectives and regulatory expectations.
• Develop realistic, MVB-grounded scenarios to assess manual recovery procedures and dependencies across business functions.
• Facilitate workshops and desktop exercises with stakeholders from business units and support functions.
• Validate crisis and recovery plans, identify operational gaps, and recommend improvements to recovery capabilities.
• Manage exercise logistics, documentation, participant materials, action items, and follow-up activities.
• Report findings, observations, gaps, and recommendations to senior leadership and programme governance.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Operational Resilience, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in testing, exercising, or technical recovery planning.
• Hands-on experience designing and executing testing exercises, including desktop exercises.
• Professional experience in financial services, such as banking or insurance, with an understanding of technology and operational dependencies.
• Strong knowledge of BCCM frameworks, methodologies, and best practices, together with workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional English communication is required for daily work in international teams.
