Solutions Engineer (AI/AppSec)

Location: Remote in the USA, IN; residence in the Pacific or Mountain time zones is preferred.

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives to support strategic application security deals.
• Deliver compelling technical narratives to customer stakeholders.
• Run tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements.
• Explain application security and software development risks to technical and executive audiences.
• Help customers understand risks related to AI-assisted and AI-generated code.

Requirements

• Understanding of SAST, SCA, DAST, secrets detection, API security, and AI/LLM code risk.
• 1–2+ years of experience in technical presales or solution engineering for SaaS security or developer tools.
• Ability to conduct tailored demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-security audiences.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth sales environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the SDLC, DevSecOps, and shift-left practices.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and Cursor.
• Hands-on scripting or programming experience across multiple languages.
• Interest in the impact of AI on application security and software development.
