Test Data Engineer / Test Data Specialist

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa, with 2–3 days per week from the office

Salary: 700–800 PLN per day on B2B

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain reusable test data assets and synthetic datasets.
• Develop automated test data provisioning, refresh, cloning, subsetting, extraction, and transformation solutions.
• Create self-service mechanisms for on-demand test data access across non-production environments.
• Implement data masking and anonymization processes in line with GDPR and internal governance requirements.
• Integrate test data solutions with test automation frameworks and CI/CD-driven regression testing.
• Monitor data availability and quality, troubleshoot defects, and maintain documentation and data dependency mappings.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Test Data Management, Test Automation, or related areas.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge, with experience in mainframe environments.
• Hands-on experience with test data generation, masking, anonymization, cloning, subsetting, extraction, and transformation.
• Experience supporting automated, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Java, or similar technologies, plus knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher and experience working in Agile delivery environments.
