Senior Project Manager (Big Data)

Location: Hybrid work from offices in Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Warszawa, with three days per week in the office

Salary: 1,000–1,200 PLN/day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Lead a large-scale vendor replacement program for a Hadoop/Cloudera-based Big Data platform.
• Plan and manage delivery activities, timelines, dependencies, resources, and milestones.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial controls.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Coordinate communication across business and technical stakeholders.
• Prepare status reports, executive reporting, and SteerCo presentations.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading a large-scale platform migration or vendor replacement project in Hadoop/Cloudera environments.
• Previous Project Manager experience in Big Data platform migration projects.
• Strong risk and issue management, budget management, and financial forecasting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, and accountability skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
