Senior Fullstack Software Engineer - Ecosystem Experience (TypeScript)

Location: Fully remote in the UK and EU, within +/- 2 hours of GMT; occasional travel to London or Paris offices.

Salary: £70,000–90,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and deliver integrations that securely move clinical and operational data between hirify.global and external systems.
• Build across the TypeScript monorepo using React, Node, GraphQL, and MongoDB.
• Turn ambiguous partner specifications and product goals into technical designs, delivery plans, and testable solutions.
• Own production reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident diagnosis, root-cause analysis, retries, idempotency, and safe rollouts.
• Contribute to hirify.global Connect automation, including provisioning, connections, recipes, and webhooks.
• Raise engineering quality through reviews, automated testing, CI/CD improvements, mentoring, and technical roadmap input.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript at a senior level.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js backends, REST and/or GraphQL APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Experience designing systems, handling ambiguity, and owning complex production issues across services.
• Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, CI/CD, NoSQL databases, and cloud-hosted applications; AWS is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaborative leadership, mentoring, and code review skills.
• Security and privacy awareness for sensitive healthcare data, plus comfort using AI coding tools.

Nice to have

• Healthcare, HL7/FHIR, lab, pharmacy, or other regulated-domain integration experience.
• Workato or similar iPaaS and automation platform experience.
• Large monorepo, design system, Terraform/CDK, Datadog, multi-tenant SaaS, Playwright, or Cypress experience.
• Experience leading technical delivery across multiple engineers or workstreams.
• Bilingual English–French.
