Senior IT Analyst (Data Domain)

Location: Hybrid from Gdańsk, Gdynia, Warszawa, or Łódź, Poland; 2–3 days per week from the office

Salary: 900–1,100 PLN/day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Elicit, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements with business and technology stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into implementation specifications, use cases, and process descriptions.
• Perform data mapping, data modelling, solution design, and quantitative analysis.
• Design and support scalable, near real-time data pipelines and data-driven products.
• Contribute to application architecture, maintainability, and modern data platform practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, test engineers, and cross-functional teams throughout delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, IT analysis, data engineering, or a similar analytical role.
• Experience designing data-intensive solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong requirements elicitation and business analysis skills, including functional and non-functional specifications.
• Excellent SQL skills with Snowflake and MS SQL Server, plus experience with dbt and modern data platforms.
• Experience with AI solutions including Copilot, LLMs, and agentic approaches.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, Event Sourcing, microservices architecture, and Clean Code principles.
• Experience building and scaling data products that support data-driven decision-making.
