Project Manager for Transaction Monitoring (Financial Crime)

Location: Hybrid work from offices in Gdańsk, Gdynia, Łódź, or Warszawa, with three days per week in the office

Salary: 700–900 PLN/day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Govern and continuously manage Transaction Monitoring models and related regulatory commitments.
• Own the model management roadmap and translate financial crime strategy, risk priorities, regulatory requirements, and business needs into validation, remediation, and governance plans.
• Prioritise models by balancing model risk, regulatory commitments, validation findings, technical sustainability, and available capacity.
• Coordinate model validation, documentation of findings and risks, remediation activities, and closure of audit and regulatory actions.
• Collaborate with Model Owners, Capability Leads, Subject Matter Experts, Model Risk Management, Financial Crime, Technology, and Operations stakeholders.
• Maintain the end-to-end model lifecycle from design and implementation through approval, monitoring, change management, periodic review, and retirement.

Requirements

• Experience in governance, oversight, and continuous management of Transaction Monitoring models.
• Experience with model management, validation, remediation, and governance activities.
• Understanding of financial crime strategy, risk priorities, regulatory requirements, and business needs.
• Experience analysing validation findings, recommendations, limitations, assumptions, model risks, performance metrics, and regulatory feedback.
• Ability to coordinate priorities, dependencies, remediation activities, and governance outcomes across multiple initiatives.
• Ability to work from the Gdańsk, Gdynia, Łódź, or Warszawa office three days per week.

• Good understanding of finance products.
