Senior QA Automation Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź, with 2–3 days per week in the office

Salary: 900–1,100 PLN/day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, product stakeholders, and QA engineers in a Scrum team.
• Analyse business and technical requirements from a testing perspective.
• Plan, design, execute, and maintain test cases for payment-related solutions.
• Test microservices across payment flows, including REST APIs, Kafka events, and database integrations.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using Python and Robot Framework.
• Report defects and quality metrics while contributing to QA process improvements and testing community initiatives.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in software testing within complex distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with RESTful API testing, database testing, and data-flow validation.
• Solid Python programming skills and practical experience with Robot Framework.
• Experience testing Kafka-based event-driven solutions and understanding XML and JSON structures.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, functional, integration, end-to-end, manual, and automated testing.
• Strong communication skills in English and knowledge of ISTQB Foundation concepts or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with Jenkins and Git.
