What you will do

• Define a 1–3 year technical roadmap for user value modeling and align ML capabilities with product and business goals.
• Lead, mentor, recruit, and retain applied scientists and machine learning engineers.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and executive leadership to identify customer opportunities for ML.
• Oversee scalable ML systems for personalization, content recommendation, multi-task learning, reinforcement learning, and LLM integration.
• Establish A/B testing, model evaluation, and algorithmic guardrails to improve customer trust and retention.

Requirements

• 8+ years of machine learning and software engineering experience, including 4+ years managing teams.
• Experience shipping ML systems at scale in personalization, recommendation systems, information retrieval, or behavioral modeling.
• Understanding of how technical ML metrics connect to user and business metrics such as retention and lifetime value.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to executives and cross-functional partners.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional English proficiency is required for frequent communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.
