Salary: $276,800–$415,200 USD per year, depending on location zone, skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Lead multiple machine learning initiatives from planning and design through rollout, documentation, and long-term maintenance.
• Define long-term ML roadmaps with risk, product, engineering, design, and operations leaders.
• Identify ML and AI opportunities and advise leadership on strategic trade-offs.
• Research next-generation chatbot architectures using LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, and real-time inference.
• Design, deploy, and maintain conversational AI models for Cash App, Square, and other hirify.global products.
• Build ML-powered tools and real-time recommendation systems that improve support agent effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in machine learning, applied AI, or product ML.
• Leadership experience influencing and aligning cross-functional teams while providing technical guidance.
• Experience delivering end-to-end ML features from problem framing through deployment and maintenance.
• Production experience with language models, dialog systems, or generative AI.
• Strong foundation in NLP, deep learning, or ML infrastructure best practices.
• Experience with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
