Content Producer, Audience Engagement

Location: Chicago office; hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote each week

Salary: $81,325–$119,275 annual total cash compensation, inclusive of annual base salary and target incentive

What you will do

• Create social media graphics, carousels, charts, visual explainers, newsletters, and short-form editorial videos.
• Write concise scripts, develop newsletter introductions, and appear on camera when appropriate.
• Identify investing stories, data points, and concepts suited to visual, social, video, and newsletter formats.
• Manage planning, publishing, and optimization of editorial content across key social platforms.
• Use audience and platform performance data to improve content and report results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with editors, writers, designers, video producers, research analysts, and the corporate social media team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in digital journalism, editorial content, social media, audience development, content marketing, or a related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and editorial judgment skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Experience creating cross-platform content, including social posts, graphics, newsletters, or social video.
• Strong visual instincts and experience with Canva or a comparable design platform.
• Experience developing short-form video content and appearing on camera.
• Knowledge of investing, markets, and personal finance, plus experience using Parse.ly, Sprinklr, and Google Analytics for content decisions.

Nice to have

• Previous financial journalism or investing-content experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating visual, social, newsletter, and on-camera video work.
