Corporate Services & Finance Lawyer

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid work practices supported

What you will do

• Advise on the establishment, administration and governance of corporate and trust structures, including corporate trustees and unit trusts.
• Draft, review and negotiate corporate, commercial and financing agreements.
• Support company secretarial activities, entity and trust administration, ASIC and ASX interfaces, and regulatory matters across Australia and Malaysia.
• Advise on finance transactions and documentation, including debt and capital raising.
• Support procurement processes, tender documentation, vendor arrangements, supply chain agreements and equipment supply contracts.
• Provide legal support for major projects from inception through delivery.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer admitted in Australia with 4–7 years of corporate and commercial law experience.
• Strong understanding of corporate and trust structures, preferably including multi-tiered structures with corporate trustees and unit trusts.
• Confident drafting and negotiation skills across a broad range of contracts.
• Understanding of finance principles and finance-related transactions, including capital and debt raising.
• Experience advising on procurement and supply chain arrangements; data centre, infrastructure, construction or technology experience is highly regarded.
• Pragmatic, commercial and collaborative approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
