Director, Cloud Infrastructure

Location: Remote in the United States; based in Rochester, Minnesota. Monday–Friday during business hours with 10%+ travel.

Salary: $163,200–$230,700 per year.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and roadmap for the common control plane, platform APIs, shared infrastructure, self-service capabilities, and tooling.
• Lead customer integration products, software installation, automation, and distribution into customer cloud environments.
• Define the technology vision, target architecture, implementation phases, and platform evolution strategy.
• Lead, develop, and retain an engineering team, including hiring, performance management, succession planning, and resource allocation.
• Establish product-level SLAs, manage cloud costs, and coordinate platform roadmaps with product, services, IT, partners, and vendors.
• Maintain platform reliability and security through patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant information technology field or at least 7 years of direct enterprise healthcare IT leadership experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• 3–5 years of project management, systems architecture, and design experience.
• Experience with enterprise cloud architecture, deployments, and management.
• Advanced technical computer skills for technical support, oversight, and planning.
• Must work from the United States; visa sponsorship, visa transfers, and F-1 STEM OPT extensions are not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud; AWS and Azure are also considered.
• Experience implementing DevOps principles.
• Experience with product development, agile processes, and large complex projects.
• Experience managing external partners and communicating technology initiatives to business leaders and customers.
