Middle Embedded Engineer (Industrial Automation)

What you will do

• Analyze PLC-based solutions and legacy implementations to identify modernization opportunities.
• Support re-architecture initiatives that transition PLC-centric systems to scalable technology frameworks.
• Refactor monolithic and poorly documented code into modular, reusable architectures.
• Apply object-oriented programming concepts in modern industrial automation environments.
• Optimize memory mapping, user-defined data types, and tag structures for maintainability and performance.
• Design standardized state-machine approaches, including PackML-based models, and contribute to system integration and technical planning.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in PLC development or industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming concepts and industrial control systems.
• Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Beckhoff, or Schneider Electric.
• Experience analyzing and modernizing legacy industrial systems, with an understanding of software architecture, refactoring, and migration projects.
• Strong problem-solving and system integration skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher and the ability to work effectively in international, cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with PLCopen standards and related tools.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with industrial software modernization or digital transformation programs.
• Automotive industry background.
• Experience with object-oriented industrial programming in TwinCAT, CODESYS, or similar environments.
