Senior Security Technical Account Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; core business hours required. Occasional travel for customer engagements may be required. Listed locations include Denver, Colorado; New York City, New York; and San Francisco, California.

Salary: $122,280–$172,632 per year, with potential eligibility for equity and discretionary bonus programs.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary security contact and trusted advisor for strategic enterprise customers.
• Provide security recommendations aligned with customer infrastructure, application architecture, and business requirements.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, CSOC, Sales, and Leadership to resolve complex security issues and escalations.
• Design and deliver security workshops, technical deep dives, and enablement sessions.
• Drive internal process improvements, automation, tooling, documentation, playbooks, and best practices.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to professional services engagements, security programs, and special projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles supporting enterprise customers, ideally in cloud, CDN, or application security environments.
• Strong expertise in application and web security, including WAFs, bot mitigation, DDoS protection, OWASP Top 10, and API security.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS, BGP, and modern application architectures.
• Ability to provide proactive security guidance and engage technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• English proficiency is required.
• Candidates must reside in the United States and be available during core business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with CDN, security, web performance, or cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud-native and distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Experience with configuration management, infrastructure as code, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with scripting or automation using Python, Go, or similar technologies.
