Senior Systems Engineer (Electromechanical Systems)

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts, with more than 20% of the work in Methuen; up to 10% travel required. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

Salary: $111,850–$186,400 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead technical planning, scope definition, effort estimation, milestone tracking, status reporting, and project risk management.
• Work with Product Marketing and Applications teams to define market requirements and customer needs.
• Create system-level engineering specifications, project scope documents, and technical schedules.
• Develop and execute system integration, verification, and Design Verification Test plans.
• Drive technical issue resolution, failure analysis, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Compliance Engineering teams while presenting technical updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a similar discipline, with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design, test methodology, systems integration, and electromechanical systems.
• Experience creating and executing system integration and Design Verification Test plans.
• Track record of successful new product releases across the full product development process.
• Ability to manage tradeoffs between cost, performance, and schedule.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with experience in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.
