Senior Meshing Developer (C++/Computational Geometry)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize advanced meshing algorithms for CAD and simulation workflows.
• Implement and maintain Delaunay-based mesh generation and adaptation techniques.
• Develop efficient mesh coarsening and refinement methods, including bisection methods.
• Enhance surface meshing algorithms with a focus on mesh cleaning and robustness.
• Collaborate with geometry and solver teams to integrate meshing technologies.
• Contribute to software architecture, performance optimization, scalability, and technical mentoring.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Computational Engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Expertise in Delaunay mesh generation, mesh adaptation, and mesh coarsening and refinement by bisection methods.
• Experience with surface meshing, geometry processing, mesh cleaning, numerical methods, and computational geometry.
• Deep knowledge of modern C++ and advanced data structures.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with geometric modeling kernels, particularly ACIS.
