Algorithm Engineer (Optical Metrology)

What you will do

• Conduct research and development of algorithms for next-generation optical metrology of semiconductor devices.
• Develop measurement sequence designs, optimize measurement conditions, calibrate tools, and implement signal and image processing methods.
• Apply numerical computation and machine learning to optical metrology challenges.
• Define problems, research feasibility, develop solutions, perform qualification testing, and implement algorithms on tools.
• Analyze data involving multiple factors and select appropriate methods to solve problems of varying scope.
• Collaborate with skilled peers and senior internal and external stakeholders in a multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Physics, Optics, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in signal processing or image processing.
• Experience developing and implementing algorithms in MATLAB or Python.
• Required experience: 3 years with a master’s degree or 5 years with a bachelor’s degree; doctorate holders may qualify with no related work experience.
• Ability to work independently, learn on the job, and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary global team.

Nice to have

• Experience with optical systems or microscopy.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
