Machine Learning Intern (Masters) (AI)

Location: San Francisco, Sunnyvale, New York City, or Seattle offices in the United States; 12-week summer internship program.

Salary: $130,600–$192,000, $159,800–$235,000, or $193,800–$285,000 USD annually, depending on market and work location. Equity opportunities are also available.

What you will do

• Conduct machine learning and artificial intelligence research for hirify.global engineering teams.
• Apply research in areas including auction and game theory, recommender systems, ranking, AdTech, computer vision, causal inference, and big data analytics.
• Use ML, NLP, recommender systems, ranking, graph analysis, and related methods to solve problems in discovery, advertising, forecasting, fulfillment, and search.
• Collect, analyze, and synthesize data to build relevant machine learning models.
• Develop clean, efficient, and sustainable code and contribute research ideas that improve product experiences.

Requirements

• Working toward a master’s degree in computer science, machine learning, NLP, statistics, information sciences, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
• Mastery of at least one systems language: Java, C++, Python, Kotlin, or Go; or one ML framework: TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MLflow.
• Research experience and a background in solving analytical problems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an interest in applied machine learning and the hirify.global product.

Nice to have

• Publications in machine learning, AI, data science, data analytics, statistics, or a related technical field.
