Software Lead (Enterprise Software)

Location: Remote, associated with North Charleston, South Carolina, United States

Salary: $140,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead enterprise software and services support across licensing, systems engineering, emerging technology analysis, and customer support.
• Oversee software license validation, ordering, training materials, lifecycle forecasting, usage reporting, and deactivation workflows.
• Set direction for emerging technology evaluation and align software portfolios with mission and program objectives.
• Guide systems engineering priorities, integration efforts, documentation reviews, technical issue analysis, and Agile execution.
• Oversee VMware/Broadcom and Microsoft licensing, subscription, lifecycle, portal, and customer support operations.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Defense and Department of the Navy policies, cybersecurity requirements, RMF, ATO, governance, and audit standards.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field plus 4 years of experience, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating complex enterprise software environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise software lifecycle management, systems integration, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and associated tools.
• Familiarity with DoD and DON compliance requirements, including RMF and ATO processes.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, Canvas Apps, enterprise licensing dashboards, VMware Cloud Foundation, or Broadcom portal administration.
• Experience supporting federal or military enterprise environments.
• CISSP, Security+, Cloud+, Microsoft, VMware, or other relevant vendor certifications.
