Product Control Senior Specialist (Investment Operations)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients

What you will do

• Oversee operational processes across Mercer-managed portfolios.
• Manage fund administrators, custodians, investment managers, and other key service providers.
• Monitor service levels, KPIs, operational performance, NAV, and valuation processes.
• Investigate valuation exceptions, identify operational risks, and support process improvements.
• Support fund audits, governance committees, Boards, fund launches, restructures, transitions, and closures.
• Review fund and client documentation and collaborate with investment, commercial, legal, compliance, portfolio management, and operations stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of fund operations, including fund accounting, middle office, and transfer agency.
• Good understanding of European fund structures, including UCITS and AIFs.
• Experience with securities, loans, derivatives, and other asset classes.
• Experience managing institutional client relationships and external service providers.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment with a focus on quality, control, and risk management.
