Senior Consultant or Director (International Arbitration)

Location: Hybrid; colleagues are expected to work in their local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week.

Salary: $225,000–$275,000 base salary per year, with potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Lead economic and financial analysis for international arbitration, cross-border commercial disputes, and regulatory proceedings.
• Apply quantitative methods to asset valuation, regulatory analysis, and market analysis.
• Support high-value matters across industries including financial services, securities, insurance, banking, mining, infrastructure, and energy.
• Provide expert testimony and communicate complex analytical findings clearly and convincingly.
• Lead projects, manage P&L, and build client relationships.
• Develop and run an independent practice within the broader NERA platform.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Expertise supporting international arbitration on high-value matters.
• Experience providing testimony and leading projects.
• Experience managing P&L and client relationships.
• Independent, entrepreneurial approach with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Ability to work from the local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week.
