TL;DR
Data Science Graduate (Data Science/Analytics): Analyzing and validating datasets, preparing data for exploratory analysis, and contributing to models that transform structured and unstructured data into actionable insights with an accent on hypothesis development, model validation, and data visualization. Focus on building and evaluating analytic solutions, selecting models based on performance, and translating insights into understandable business stories.

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office in Spring, Texas; Andover, Massachusetts; Bloomington, Minnesota; Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; Durham, North Carolina; Fort Collins, Colorado; Roseville, California; San Jose, California; Sunnyvale, California; or Westford, Massachusetts.

What you will do

  • Analyze and validate datasets, solutions, and user experiences.
  • Support metadata development, data loading, hypothesis-matrix creation, and preparation of data for exploratory data analysis.
  • Contribute to building, validating, and evaluating models for data science solutions.
  • Research, identify, and deliver data science solutions to business problems.
  • Support visualization of model insights, user experiences, and analytics-model configuration tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
  • Typically 0–2 years of experience.
  • Ability to apply technical concepts and theoretical knowledge to assignments of limited scope.
