What you will do

• Perform and support laboratory experiments for biochemical assay development.
• Validate enzymes, proteins, antibodies, conjugates, cofactors, and buffers for ELISAs and homogeneous biochemical assay kits.
• Run medium-to-high throughput microplate assays using colorimetric, fluorometric, and luminometric readouts.
• Process and analyze biological specimens, including plasma, serum, and tissue samples.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in assay kit development and production.
• Maintain laboratory records, write and modify SOPs, and support process improvements.

Requirements

• B.S. in Biochemistry or a related life-science discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and non-linear curve-fitting software such as GraphPad Prism.
• Ability to travel up to 10% overnight within the territory or to other locations.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 25 lb.

Nice to have

• Experience with microplate-based assay design and development.
• Knowledge of enzymology, pharmacology, and binding or reaction kinetics.
• At least 1 year of experience in an industrial laboratory setting.
