Junior Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office.

What you will do

• Monitor customers’ IT environments for security events and potential threats as part of 24/7 strategic account support.
• Use vulnerability and compliance management tools to assess security profiles and respond appropriately.
• Respond to customer inquiries and triage security alerts within defined SLAs.
• Handle and coordinate incident response with peers and Level 2/3 teams.
• Coordinate support activities and participate in ITIL-based change, problem, and incident management.
• Identify and contribute to projects that improve product support, customer satisfaction, and team efficiency.

Requirements

• University degree completed or in progress.
• At least one year of professional experience in a customer support environment.
• Fluent written and verbal English required.
• Analytical skills and the ability to isolate and solve problems while following predefined processes.
• Understanding of enterprise computing environments, applications, and TCP/IP networks and protocols.
• Knowledge of detecting, responding to, containing, and remediating live security incidents, plus experience with IT infrastructure monitoring tools and MS Office.
