Global Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

What you will do

• Monitor SIEM, IDS, firewall, endpoint, and other security data to detect suspicious activity and potential incidents.
• Investigate, triage, classify, and respond to security incidents, including suspicious email submissions.
• Analyze incidents to determine root cause, scope, compromise, and business impact, then coordinate containment and remediation.
• Research threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and indicators of compromise to strengthen security controls.
• Prepare incident reports, maintain evidence logs and timelines, and update knowledge bases and runbooks.
• Lead relevant cybersecurity projects, support less experienced colleagues, report monthly trends, and provide recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in a security operations center.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong experience with SIEM, EDR, endpoint protection tools, the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, and ticketing or case-management systems.
• Ability to document procedures, create runbooks, generate reports, and handle cybersecurity-related internal tickets.
• At least one relevant security certification is required.
• Must be based in Mexico for this remote role.
