Information Security Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid remote in Spring Lake, North Carolina, United States; travel up to 10%; US citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.

Salary: $105,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage vulnerability scanning, prioritization, remediation, patching, and configuration enforcement.
• Monitor information systems, review audit logs, and correlate activity across endpoints, servers, identity systems, and cloud services.
• Configure security alerting and automated response capabilities.
• Perform incident response and reporting for malware, phishing, unauthorized access, and data exfiltration events.
• Maintain POA&Ms, security documentation, policies, technical controls, and audit readiness.
• Support change-control assessments, user activity monitoring, insider-threat investigations, and security awareness initiatives.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools and processes.
• Experience with vulnerability management, change management, audit log review, endpoint security, and data protection.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, endpoint, and identity security configurations.
