Senior Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Not specified; a current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required before applying.

Salary: $260,000–$285,000 per year, plus $65,000–$71,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters supporting AI capabilities.
• Translate high-level stakeholder and mission goals into platform solutions and engineering outcomes.
• Define structured solutions for ambiguous technical problems and evolving requirements.
• Mentor engineers and develop engineering standards, best practices, and technical governance.
• Establish and enforce infrastructure and data security practices, including certificate and identity management.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required before applying.
• Clearance sponsorship or clearance processing is not available.
• 12 years of experience, plus a B.S. in a technical discipline or four additional years of experience in place of the degree.
• Experience with AWS services including EKS, Terraform, IAM, and Route 53; Kubernetes; Helm or Kustomize; and Docker.
• Experience with Argo CD or other CI/CD frameworks, Elastic Stack, Kibana, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Strong cloud-native security, production infrastructure, communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing technical policies and governance frameworks.
• Experience with AI inference serving technologies such as vLLM or LiteLLM.
• Experience with agentic frameworks, vector databases, embedding systems, LLMs, or AI hosting concepts.
