Technical (Sleep) Specialist

Location: Remote, field-based role. Candidates must reside within or near Chicago, Des Moines, Milwaukee, or Madison, United States. Frequent regional and national travel, including overnight stays, is required; travel is expected 80% of the time.

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 annual base salary, plus a targeted 20% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Provide technical support for therapy activation, titration, and optimization of the remedē System.
• Support overnight sleep studies and optimize therapy during clinical procedures.
• Train customers to use the remedē System programmer and perform device programming.
• Work with the Territory Manager across the sales process and educate sleep physicians about central sleep apnea, therapy indications, and clinical data.
• Provide scheduled remote technical support during on-call duties.
• Maintain vendor credentials required to access customer facilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sleep medicine, including extensive experience scoring sleep studies and interpreting sleep study reports.
• At least 2 years of experience in a sleep clinic or sleep laboratory is preferred.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification required.
• Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) certification required.
• Clinical sleep educator certification or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and independent decision-making skills required.
