Senior Medical Science Liaison (Medical Diagnostics)

Location: Remote, field based, with an ideal location in the Central or Western United States. Travel up to 70% is required for customer visits, training, medical meetings, and events.

hirify.global is a medical diagnostics company developing IntelliSep, a rapid stand-alone sepsis detection assay that analyzes white blood cell structure from a standard blood draw and produces results in less than 10 minutes.

What you will do

• Execute field Medical Affairs strategy and support clinical practice transformation in IntelliSep customer accounts.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, hospital leaders, and other healthcare professionals to address scientific inquiries and improve patient care.
• Deliver medical education and training through on-site and virtual engagement, supporting diagnostic protocols and ordering pathways.
• Build relationships with healthcare professionals, thought leaders, medical groups, academic institutions, and professional societies.
• Support KOL engagement, advisory boards, educational symposia, investigator meetings, and medical conferences.
• Share clinical insights with Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and Commercial teams while identifying evidence gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline; advanced clinical degrees such as PharmD, PA-C, DNP, or MD are preferred.
• At least 7 years of combined clinical and industry experience in patient-facing settings such as acute care hospitals, critical care, or emergency medicine.
• Experience communicating complex clinical information, presenting scientific data, and educating multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Ability to interpret clinical data and medical literature and familiarity with medical device regulations and compliant HCP interactions.
• Strong communication, public speaking, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Salesforce, Zoom, Teams, and similar meeting platforms.

Nice to have

• Prior Medical Science Liaison experience in the diagnostic or medical device industry.
• Advanced clinical degree and relevant clinical practice experience.
