Mid-Level Fullstack Developer (Python & JavaScript)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal, with a hybrid work model of up to 3 remote days per week. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work within the European Union.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications for AI projects.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design focused on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Write, test, review, debug, and deploy software across development, staging, and production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate client requirements into technical solutions.
• Evaluate feature requests, resolve performance, scalability, and security issues, and improve engineering processes.
• Maintain technical documentation for internal and external use.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional software development experience with Python.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, integration patterns, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Git, pull requests, Agile/Scrum workflows, unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing.
• Experience deploying and operating applications on GCP, AWS, or Azure, with familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and infrastructure as code.
• Fluent written and spoken English and an existing legal right to work within the European Union are required.
