Software Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid arrangement with three days per week onsite in the London office. The option to work four days onsite is available with an additional financial allowance.

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end features across web applications and backend services.
• Build secure, performant, scalable solutions with a strong user experience.
• Write automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering designs, task breakdowns, and deliverables.
• Manage and debug features from testing environments through production.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, full-stack, and other engineering teams.

Requirements

• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in building modern web applications and writing REST APIs and services.
• Experience integrating automated testing into the development lifecycle.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on clean, readable, properly tested code.
• Interest in client-facing projects, requirements scoping, and defining deliverables.
• A proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of banking or finance.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud providers, Golang or Python, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of UX and UI principles, Figma, UI frameworks, or visual design.
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases, networking, client/server architectures, or microservices.
