3D Geospatial Production Technician

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; full-time onsite or hybrid with a minimum of Tuesday–Thursday in the office

Salary: $25.50–$42.50 hourly; Colorado base pay range: $27.75–$40.70 hourly

What you will do

• Create 3D solutions from multiple aerial and satellite images using proprietary software.
• Generate, review, edit, and deliver software outputs.
• Perform quality control and review of 3D geospatial data.
• Maintain consistency with product specifications and customer quality standards.
• Review peer work, provide feedback, and support mentoring or training.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the 3D product specification and production software.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee and meet U.S. Person requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or recognized related training plus 2 years of similar geospatial industry experience; or an associate’s degree plus 3 years of experience; or at least 4 years of similar experience.
• Experience mentoring or training others and reviewing peer work.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a geospatial production environment.
• Strong quality-control, feedback, communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to maintain home internet service of at least 100 Mbps when working remotely.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of elevation data types.
• Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or QT Viewer/Modeler.
• Knowledge of coordinate systems, projections, GPS, and mapping or navigation applications.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and project-tracking software such as Jira.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
