Systems/Software Engineer I (QA)

Location: Hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week working from an HPE office

What you will do

• Design, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data for system and subsystem validation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and basic performance testing.
• Identify, track, verify, and analyze defects in collaboration with development teams.
• Participate in requirements and design reviews to improve testability and quality coverage.
• Validate fixes, conduct impact analysis, and contribute to test automation and QA process improvements.
• Work with internal and outsourced partners to deliver reliable solutions for low- to moderately complex products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Typically 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Networking certification, such as CCNA.
• Understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, defect life cycle management, SDLC, STLC, quality metrics, and release validation.
• Familiarity with manual testing, basic test automation tools and frameworks, API and UI testing, L2–L3 networking protocols, and system-level testing.
• Proficiency in English and the local language is required.
