What you will do

• Monitor and safely assist mobile service robots in a hospital environment.
• Collect operational data and troubleshoot unexpected situations in real-world clinical settings.
• Provide detailed and accurate feedback to engineering teams through documentation and direct communication.
• Support hospital staff and occasionally members of the public with robot operation.
• Prioritize customer experience and help develop operational processes as the organization scales.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong customer-service, written, verbal communication, de-escalation, organizational, and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Availability for varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and significant holidays.
• Must be local to Chicago and able to work on-site.
• Employment depends on obtaining vendor credentials, including required immunizations, a background check, and a drug screen.

Nice to have

• Previous healthcare experience and familiarity with hospital terminology, structures, and operational processes.
• Interest in the intersection of healthcare and robotics.
• Experience observing end users, taking notes, and working effectively with remote colleagues.
