Underwriting Services Associate

Location: Remote within one of the listed U.S. states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin. Monday–Friday shifts are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM CST. A rotating Saturday shift is required every 4–6 weeks.

Salary: $56,000–$64,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Conduct risk reviews across pre-bind, active service, and renewal using hirify.global’s underwriting rulesets and delegated authority.
• Review and adjudicate inspection findings, including Coverage A valuations from $1M to $2M and escalated inspection cases.
• Own risk files end to end by gathering documentation, resolving open requirements, and preparing files for underwriting decisions.
• Handle customer inquiries about inspection results, requirements, and coverage conditions, including transferred calls and live requests.
• Partner with Sales and Underwriting on referred cases, policy actions, declines, and additional-requirement conversations.
• Identify recurring patterns and process gaps that can be converted into rules and reduce manual review.

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license required.
• Direct underwriting, underwriting-support, or advanced home-insurance policy-servicing experience.
• Worhirify.globalg knowledge of property-risk review, inspections, and pre-bind requirements.
• Sound judgment when applying defined rulesets, with the ability to escalate cases outside those rules.
• Strong written communication and comfort worhirify.globalg across multiple systems in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to live and work full-time in one of the listed U.S. states; availability for assigned CST shifts and a rotating Saturday shift required.

• Experience with hirify.global’s underwriting queues, inspections, or RBR workflows.
