Technical Marketing Engineer - Expert (Cloud)

Location: Onsite, primarily from an HPE office in the United States

Salary: $126,500–$240,500 annually in Colorado; $136,500–$260,500 annually in Massachusetts; $120,500–$276,500 annually in Texas. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Define near-, mid-, and long-term strategies for customer cloud transformation with product management, engineering, and customers.
• Design cloud solution architectures and support strategic migration and modernization projects.
• Identify customer objectives, develop best-practice guidelines, and accelerate adoption through education and enablement.
• Create technical collateral including videos, podcasts, white papers, blogs, and FAQ documents.
• Build and support data center infrastructure and set up data center environments.
• Lead cross-functional software systems design and development initiatives, coordinate partner teams, and mentor less-experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Typically 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced experience with software systems design, architecture, integration, testing, debugging, and multiple software platforms.
• Experience implementing cloud services, including migration and modernization projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, and customer engagement skills.
• Mastery of English and the local language is required; the role is onsite in the United States.

Nice to have

• AWS or Azure certifications.
• Experience with data protection, SimpliVity, and hyper-converged environments.
• Knowledge of security and ransomware protection.
