Senior Consultant, Digital, Data & AI

Location: Based in Chicago or Atlanta, United States. Moderate travel to client sites and Inverto teams is required and may be significant depending on project needs.

What you will do

• Lead client-facing digital and AI workstreams for procurement and supply chain projects.
• Apply data, digital tools, and AI methods to develop analyses, insights, prototypes, and measurable client value.
• Cleanse and transform raw data into structured insights, dashboards, and self-service reports.
• Use Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, Python, and generative AI to automate data extraction, build forecasting models, and streamline processes.
• Explore LLMs, intelligent automation, advanced analytics, and related technologies for procurement and supply chain challenges.
• Share knowledge and contribute to the digital, data, and AI community across Inverto and BCG.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in analytics, consulting, or data-driven roles.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Python for data transformation, automation, and analytical or AI-supported workflows.
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure, and/or Microsoft Power Platform.
• Practical exposure to modern AI technologies such as LLMs, retrieval-based systems, workflow or agent orchestration frameworks, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or vector databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, consulting, and client stakeholder management skills, with willingness to travel to client sites.
