Consultant, Procurement (AI)

Location: Atlanta, Brooklyn, or Chicago, United States. Moderate travel to client sites is required and may be significant depending on project needs.

Base compensation starts at $115,000 USD annually, plus a discretionary performance bonus and profit-sharing and retirement contributions.

What you will do

• Deliver end-to-end procurement and supply chain consulting projects.
• Analyze procurement data, processes, organizations, and category strategies to develop tailored solutions.
• Support client workshops, negotiations, and business discussions across multiple industries.
• Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, sharpen insights, and improve client outcomes.
• Contribute to procurement and supply chain communities of expertise and share project learnings.
• Collaborate with consultants, procurement specialists, clients, and colleagues across the BCG network.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, operations, or consulting.
• BS degree from an accredited university; an MS is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, client engagement, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented, confident, persuasive, and able to take ownership and present a point of view.
• Business-fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and Inverto teams; significant travel may be required.

Nice to have

• MS degree.
• Experience across consumer goods, retail, healthcare, energy, automotive, or industrial products.
