Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: Fully remote within the EU, with CET working-hours overlap and occasional trips to Copenhagen for team gatherings.

hirify.global is a Copenhagen-based fintech offering flexible payment and consumer credit products for shoppers and merchants in Denmark, including a consumer app, the hirify.global card, and a merchant-facing platform.

What you will do

• Own design for defined areas of the merchant-facing platform and consumer experience, from problem framing and user flows through final UI and implementation.
• Design web pages, campaign pages, and visual assets for internal and external use.
• Explore and present multiple design directions, align non-design stakeholders, and drive decisions to closure.
• Work within the existing design system and contribute to component standards and consistency.
• Run lightweight usability testing and use product and funnel data to improve live flows.
• Deliver structured handoffs and collaborate with developers through implementation and QA.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience designing shipped web and mobile products.
• Portfolio with 2–3 case studies covering the problem, alternatives, decision, and outcome.
• Strong Figma skills, including components, variants, and auto-layout, plus experience with an existing design system.
• Clear, confident written and spoken English, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.
• Based in the EU and available for CET working-hours overlap.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulated or multi-step flows such as onboarding, applications, payments, or identity verification.
• Experience designing for both consumers and business users.
• Basic prototyping in code or motion design.
• Background in fintech, e-commerce, or B2B SaaS.
