Project Manager, Procurement

Location: Atlanta, Chicago, or Brooklyn, United States. Significant travel to client sites is required depending on project needs.

Base compensation: $200,000 USD annually for U.S. applicants, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus and BCG Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund contribution.

What you will do

• Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies that create value and impact for clients.
• Manage projects holistically, including analysis of processes, procurement organizations, and product groups.
• Develop customized solutions and support project controlling and customer acquisition.
• Lead client workshops, negotiations, presentations, and strategic discussions as the primary client contact.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and help develop team members professionally and personally.
• Build cross-industry procurement knowledge and contribute to company-wide compliance centers and areas of expertise.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, operations, or consulting.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
• Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
• Experience managing others in fast-paced client service environments.
• Experience cultivating and building strong client relationships while setting and communicating strategic project direction.
• Strong understanding of and experience implementing procurement tools and practices in direct and/or indirect categories.
• Business-fluent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel to clients and Inverto teams, including significant travel to client sites when required.
• Authentic entrepreneurial spirit and ability to collaborate effectively in teams.
