Phlebotomist (Healthcare)

Location: Onsite in Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Ramona, San Diego, San Clemente, Encinitas, Fallbrook, or San Marcos, California, United States. The role is based at a Patient Service Center or client office and may require travel to additional sites. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; additional hours and rotating weekends may be required. Attendance at two-week training in California is required.

Pay range: $23.00–$33.00 per hour, with potential eligibility for a quarterly performance-based incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Perform blood collections through venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional sites when needed and work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid California state-issued phlebotomy license, or an application filed with the California Department of Health at the time of hire may meet the requirement.
• Ability to pass a standardized color-blindness test.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven customer-service record.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Availability for two-week training in California and onsite work at assigned locations.

Nice to have

• At least one month of phlebotomy experience.
• Current or prior experience with hirify.global.
