Market Security Specialist

Location: Tower Place West, Tower Place, London, EC3R 5BU, United Kingdom. Hybrid work is available, with at least three days per week in the local office or working onsite with clients.

What you will do

• Support brokers and clients in assessing reinsurer security and making informed reinsurer-selection decisions.
• Lead the creation and review of analytical reports on (re)insurance companies.
• Maintain the Marsh Re market security platform and respond to broker and client questions about reinsurance markets.
• Research and analyse data to produce newsletters, research notes, and actionable market insights.
• Present findings to stakeholders and build relationships with brokers, (re)insurers, and clients.
• Collaborate with Ratings Advisory, Global Analytics & Advisory, broking teams, Marsh Re Securities, and occasionally Marsh Risk, Mercer, and Oliver Wyman; attend rating agency events and manage large financial datasets.

Requirements

• Deep (re)insurance industry knowledge gained in an insurer's or broker's market security department, with a rating agency, advisory firm, or consultancy specialising in reinsurer analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs or AI tools to enhance efficiency.
• Fluency in another European language, with Spanish or French preferred.
