Commercial Assurance Manager

Location: Newbury or any hirify.global site in the United Kingdom; hybrid work with office attendance 2–3 days per week and at least 8 days per month.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end assurance of commercial charging outcomes, ensuring pricing strategies are accurately reflected in billing and revenue systems.
• Lead Revenue Assurance across the full usage-to-bill lifecycle, identifying gaps in data flows, rating logic, and billing outputs.
• Oversee Margin Assurance and proactively identify margin leakage, inefficiencies, and risks to profitability.
• Lead cost verification across wholesale and third-party suppliers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and value realization.
• Validate pricing structures, offers, discounts, promotions, commercial configuration, rating rules, and product setup within billing and charging platforms.
• Provide senior-level insight into financial exposure and commercial risks while partnering with Product, Commercial, and Pricing teams to embed assurance by design.

Requirements

• Experience in Revenue Assurance, Commercial Assurance, or related financial control environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of pricing models, margin drivers, and financial risk.
• Proven leadership experience managing complex assurance portfolios and driving measurable outcomes.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to assess large data sets and translate insights into actions.
• Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and challenging effectively when risks are identified.
• Experience in fast-paced, commercially driven organisations with high accountability for financial performance.
• Ability to quantify financial impact and prioritise issues based on business risk and value.
• Strong track record of protecting revenue and improving margin performance.
• Successful candidates must complete criminal (DBS) and financial background checks to meet regulatory standards.
