North America Public Sector Pricing Finance Opportunity Consultant

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office

Salary: USD 105,500–243,000 annually in Texas, USD 111,000–211,000 annually in Colorado, or USD 120,000–243,000 annually in California. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Review deal structures and pricing for GreenLake as-a-Service, advisory, professional consulting, and custom support opportunities.
• Evaluate financial assumptions against HPE accounting standards and create pricing strategies and simulations.
• Analyze cost structures and optimize internal and external levers to improve deal competitiveness.
• Prepare, evaluate, and present P&L models for deal approvals and support the OBR approval process.
• Assess and quantify risks, develop mitigation plans, and coordinate with compliance, revenue recognition, tax, and operations teams.
• Advise sales, presales, account, and senior executive stakeholders while leading transformation in as-a-Service pricing execution.

Requirements

• University degree in business, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or accounting certification such as CPA or MBA is preferred.
• 6+ years of experience, typically across more than one finance function.
• Previous pricing experience and experience partnering with senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of business portfolios, revenue recognition policies, contracting practices, and government regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, executive influencing, presentation, teamwork, and project management skills.
• Strong business application skills, including Microsoft Excel.
