Base pay: $211,000–$285,500 per year, plus eligibility for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and lead a team of AI scientists, including hiring, mentoring, and technical development.
• Build and deploy machine learning models using analytical algorithms and deep learning.
• Apply AI and machine learning to complex customer problems and new business opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership across teams and guide strategy for AI science, analytics, and advanced engineering.
• Explore large-scale, diverse datasets using predictive statistical modeling, experimentation, and data-driven analysis.
• Translate research findings into product opportunities, strategic recommendations, and customer benefits.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, econometrics, operations research, physics, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a technical leader or manager of AI science teams delivering data-driven software products.
• Expertise in AI, machine learning, statistical modeling, modern tools, and engineering best practices.
• Experience leading teams working with clustering, classification, regression, decision trees, neural networks, support vector machines, anomaly detection, recommender systems, and natural language processing.
• Strong ability to convert complex data into insights and action plans, communicate a vision, and inspire innovation.
• Work location: San Diego, California.
