Senior Electrical Engineer (Pharmaceutical)

What you will do

• Lead electrical engineering activities across industrial and pharmaceutical projects within multidisciplinary teams.
• Analyze complex engineering problems and develop effective, cost-conscious solutions.
• Prepare and manage electrical packages for bids, approvals, and construction.
• Review engineering work, perform peer reviews, and monitor junior electrical engineers when required.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, project field personnel, and internal project teams.
• Participate in site visits to monitor, review, and sign off electrical installations.

Requirements

• Third-level degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• 10+ years of formal experience in heavy industrial engineering design.
• Chartered Engineer status or active progress toward chartership.
• Advanced experience across MV and LV distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, communications, fire alarm, security, lightning protection, earthing, hazardous areas, and specialist control systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering codes, standards, industry practices, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Experience with short-circuit calculations, load-flow analysis, and discrimination studies using Amtech or SKM.
