Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: Fully remote, but applicants must currently reside in the United States. Candidates in the Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia area are preferred for occasional onsite collaboration.

What you will do

• Engineer, deploy, and manage Windows enterprise systems, endpoints, and device management environments.
• Develop PowerShell and Python automation for provisioning, administration, reporting, integrations, and operational efficiency.
• Administer Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and comparable cloud and identity platforms.
• Maintain monitoring and management platforms, including RMM, network monitoring, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Build documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and Help Desk teams to troubleshoot complex issues and improve reliability, compliance, and user experience.

Requirements

• Current residence in the United States is required.
• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, Systems Administrator, or in a similar infrastructure role.
• Strong experience managing Windows enterprise environments and advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience with networking, including routing, switching, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Experience administering enterprise endpoint, identity, or cloud platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID.
• Experience with lifecycle management, monitoring platforms, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and remote-first operations.

Nice to have

• Linux administration, Azure, infrastructure automation tools, APIs, or ServiceNow experience.
• Experience supporting U.S. Government or Government Contracting environments.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171, CMMC, or FedRAMP.
• macOS endpoint administration experience.
