Lead Systems Engineer (Windows)

Location: Remote within the United States; selected candidates must currently reside within a 50-mile radius of Arlington, VA; Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; Tampa, FL; or the New York City Metropolitan Area, NY. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $117,600–$161,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead the strategic direction, design, and implementation of Windows associate technology solutions.
• Oversee policy management, compliance, and automation across Windows operating systems, ConfigMgr, Intune, and related endpoint management platforms.
• Implement business continuity and backup processes for Windows device environments.
• Evaluate and improve Windows endpoint security, privacy, OEM hardware, BIOS, drivers, and device solutions.
• Deploy Windows through operating system deployment, Windows Autopilot, Hyper-V, Windows 365, or AVD platforms.
• Partner with Architecture, Product Management, Support Services, Experience & Design, and other platform teams to develop cross-platform standards.

Requirements

• 5 years of Windows endpoint management experience using Group Policy, ConfigMgr, or Intune.
• 3 years of experience implementing new technologies through proof-of-concepts or proof-of-values.
• 2 years of experience managing Microsoft Edge through Group Policy, Intune, or Edge Management Service.
• 3 years of experience managing OEM hardware, BIOS, drivers, and Windows endpoint security configurations.
• 3 years of experience deploying Windows through operating system deployment, Windows Autopilot, Hyper-V, Windows 365, or AVD.
• 2 years of experience automating processes with PowerShell, Python, or other automation languages.

Nice to have

• MD-102 Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate or Nexthink Associate certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API, Windows roadmap and lifecycle management, and endpoint security collaboration.
• Experience with Azure Automation, Azure DevOps, System Center Orchestrator, or Power Platform automation.
• Experience collaborating with Mac, Mobile, and Virtual platform teams and using DEX tools such as Nexthink, Lakeside, or 1E.
