Freelance Senior Project Manager (Part-time)

Location: Bonn, Germany. Candidates must have the right to work in Germany or be eligible for visa sponsorship and must be physically present in Germany by the first day of employment, or able to relocate beforehand.

What you will do

• Oversee the workflow and quality assurance of press and communication activities.
• Build relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, partners, networks, and other stakeholders.
• Design and implement media strategies supporting communication objectives.
• Analyze communication opportunities and develop recommendations and independent evaluations.
• Coordinate media presence across multiple channels and platforms.
• Provide strategic input to improve media outreach, visibility, and engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in media relations, communication strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of the regional media landscape and strategic communication opportunities.
• Strong analytical, planning, coordination, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an adaptable and proactive manner.
• German at minimum C1 level; C2 preferred.
• English at minimum C1 level.
